Fontcake is an independent type foundry creating refined typefaces for brands that value timeless design.
Inspired by art, architecture, botanical forms, and the rich history of print, our mission is to craft typefaces that combine quiet elegance with enduring character.
Our Philosophy
We believe typography should age gracefully. Rather than chasing trends, we design typefaces with longevity in mind—fonts that feel as relevant in ten years as they do today.
Craftsmanship
Every Fontcake typeface begins as a study of proportion, rhythm and detail. Hundreds of subtle refinements—from curve tension to spacing and optical balance—shape each character before a font is released.
Font Files You’ll Receive
When you purchase a licence online, you receive .otf files for desktop and social media. You receive .woff and .woff2 for web.
You will also receive a copy of your licence agreement, specimen files and and instructions on how to upload your font.
Updates
If one of the fonts that you have licensed in the past receives an update, don’t hesitate to ask for it, free of charge. Send us an email with your order number and invoice and we will send you the update.
Refund Policy
Because font files are digital products delivered immediately after purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once an order has been completed. If you're unsure whether a typeface is right for your project, we recommend contacting us to request a trial version.
